Reno, Nevada · Homes and businesses
Cut the heat and glare, stop the fading, or add privacy. Window film for homes and businesses, installed by a window company, not a car shop. Jobs start at $150.
Virginia City High School library. Printed film we installed turned the view of the building next door into the hills.
Why Tint in Reno
Reno sits at about 4,500 feet, and the sun up here hits harder than it does at sea level. West facing windows bake in the afternoon, the TV washes out with glare, and floors, rugs, and furniture fade a little more every summer.
Window film is the fix that doesn't cost you new windows. It usually goes on the inside of the glass you already have, and the right film cuts the heat and glare while you still see out.
What We Install
Heat, glare, and fading, handled. Neutral films look close to clear from the street, so the house doesn't look tinted.
Storefronts and offices that take the afternoon sun. A cooler front counter, less glare on screens, and less fading on what sits in the window.
Bathrooms, conference rooms, ground floor offices, and medical, dental, and therapy offices. The light gets in, the eyes don't.
A thicker film that holds the glass together if it breaks. Worth a look on ground floor storefronts and back doors.
Reeded glass looks, stripes, patterns, and frosted logos on doors and glass partitions.
Printed graphics, perforated window film, store hours, and logos. Priced as its own service, with design included.

Not unless you want it to. Light and neutral films keep your view and still cut heat and glare. Darker and mirrored films block more, but they change how the windows look from outside.
Usually, yes, with the right film. Some films can put extra heat stress on certain dual pane glass, so we check your windows first and use a film that's made for them.
It can with some window makers. Check your window warranty before you tint, and we'll match the film to what it allows.
Many Reno HOAs limit mirrored or very dark film on windows that face the street. Neutral films look close to clear from outside. Check your CC&Rs and we'll pick a film that fits them.
No. We do windows on homes and businesses, and that's all we do.
A little haze or a few small water pockets for the first days is normal. The film is installed wet, and it clears on its own as it cures.
Give the film time to cure first, and we'll tell you how long for your film. After that, use a soft cloth and a cleaner without ammonia. Or let us do it, we clean windows too.
